Dr. Farida Wardak
Farida attended The University of Melbourne, graduating with honours in 2002. She is a member of The Australian Dental Association. Farida started working in Whittlesea, as a new graduate, over 15 years ago and has passionately stayed committed to serving the community. Farida prides herself in providing high quality dental care to her patients whilst treating each as an individual with different needs. Her focus is total patient care with modern techniques whilst keeping preventive dentistry in mind. Farida is the proud mother of three children who keep her busy in her spare time. She also enjoys walking, reading and travelling.
Dr. Rochelle Baxter
Dr Rochelle loves being a dentist. She has a bright, friendly and cheery personality which she brings to your dental experience. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in the year 2000. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including crown and bridge work, veneers, root canal treatment, tooth whitening and extractions. Dr Rochelle and her team provide a blend of advanced techniques and modern materials to provide treatment tailored to you, with a reassuringly gentle touch.
Dr Baxter has been a member of the Australian Dental Association for over 17 years and regularly attends professional development courses. She enjoys expanding both her dental knowledge and clinical skills and keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys the great outdoors with her husband and three children, and their assortment of pets. She loves gardening, camping, boating and riding horses.
Dr. Melissa Shum
Dr.Melissa Shum graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and a Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University in 2013. She has spent several years travelling amongst various locations of rural Victoria whilst working as an undergraduate student. Melissa enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She likes to focus on preventive care and minimal intervention. Her passion for dentistry lies in its technical aspects and the many positive outcomes it can have on patients including physical health and psychological aspects. Outside of dentistry, Melissa loves to spend her time cooking, watching movies, learning art or painting and playing different sports such as snowboarding and gymnastics.
Dr. Shelton Jeyaratnam
Shelton has extensive experience in public and then private practice around Victoria and Melbourne since he graduated from University of Sydney in 2008. He has worked in medical hospital or emergency and oral surgery departments and enjoys seeing complex patients. He has also tutored dental students, been on committee with Australian Dental Association. He currently enjoys restorative and rehabilitative dentistry, and building long-term relationships, to assist people to be confident with their oral health and their smiles. When not at work he enjoys going to cinema, music and food festivals with his wife, and volunteering for St John Ambulance. Growing up in Epping, he enjoys serving the northern community.
Dr. Michelle Jeyaratnam
Since graduating from The University of Adelaide in 2010, Michelle worked in the coastal town of Warrnambool. Her clinical and mentoring role in this rural setting has set her up with valuable skills across a vast range of patients and treatment plans. Michelle enjoys all aspects of dentistry but also has a special interest in general family dentistry, crown and bridge prosthetic work and paediatrics. Michelle’s sensitive and caring approach is ideal for treating children, those who are nervous or even dental phobic. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys a hit of tennis and dress-making. Michelle is really excited to be working in the city of Whittlesea.
